The neo-Gothic church in Chiraleș
This church evokes nostalgic memories of Normandy and the Rhine Valley. Through a minimal safety intervention, which consisted of repairing the windows and cleaning the interior, we brought back to life a space forgotten after the departure of the Saxon population from the town.
The Evangelical Church has been transformed into a vibrant cultural space, functionalized as a concert and exhibition hall. The location can host cultural and community events in a context steeped in history and beauty.
This transformation not only prevents its deterioration, but has also revitalized the local community, providing a place where art and culture can thrive. Its impressive architecture, with neo-Gothic details and design elements inspired by Norman traditions, attracts not only music lovers, but also those passionate about history and architecture. Each year, the church can hosts a variety of events, from classical music concerts to contemporary art exhibitions, becoming a meeting point for artists and the public.
This church is no longer just a symbol of the past, but also a beacon of creativity and artistic expression, demonstrating how cultural heritage can be adapted and integrated into modern life.
